The fact that the Internet places all the information you will ever need at your finger tips isn't without it's drawbacks. There are all sorts of distractions out there and it can be easy to forget what you were doing. AntiBrowser has got to be the simplest solution to this issue, but it may just be enough. Once properly set up, this small utility will add some effort to running a browser, which could make you abandon your plans to spend "just five minutes" looking at memes.

The application is absolutely free and it works on all popular Windows platforms. It can be installed in just a few seconds, without making any complex settings. The application doesn't require any additional tools or services and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources to run it.

AntiBrowser can't be used like a traditional application. When launched, the application will flash a message, telling you how to set it up with your preferred browser. Basically, you need a shortcut for your browser, open up its properties window and specify the path to AntiBrowser's executable in the Target line.

When you try to run your web browser, after the AntiBrowser setup is complete, a window will show up, prompting you to type in a twelve digit code, complete with dashes. The code is presented clear as day on the same window. The idea is that by the time you finish typing that code, you may want to forget about opening your browser.

With AntiBrowser, you can focus on important things and abandon any distracting activities on your web browser.

Pros

The application can discourage you from running your web browser. Setting everything up is quite easy.

Cons

The application may be a bit too simple for some users.
